Yoke began in the coastal city of Đà Nẵng, Vietnam, a place known for its warmth, energy and deeply skilled workforce.
Vietnam has a rich history of textile and garment production. Yoke was founded with the belief that manufacturing could create value on both sides of the relationship. We could create exceptional products for our clients while creating meaningful opportunities within the communities in which we operate.
What started with that idea has grown into something much bigger.
Today, Yoke connects brands with the people, knowledge, infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities required to take a product from its earliest idea through to finished production.
And we're only getting started.

From fabric selection and construction to measurements, stitching, trims, colour, finishing and packaging, our teams work through rigorous quality control protocols designed to identify problems before they become production problems.
Our clients aren't kept at arm's length either.
We believe transparency creates better products. That's why we welcome client appointed and third party QC inspectors into our facilities for bulk production inspections.

Yoke was founded on the belief that business and community development don't need to exist separately.
Working alongside local community partners, our aim has been to create employment and development opportunities for women in Vietnam who may have faced barriers to stable employment, education or financial independence.
Employment is only part of that.
Our wider ambition is to help create an environment where people can develop skills, confidence and greater independence while being surrounded by a community working towards shared goals.
Where programmes are available, development can extend beyond textile skills into areas such as English language learning, financial literacy, health and transferable workplace skills.

Today, Yoke employees receive free daily meals as part of working with us.
We believe something as fundamental as access to good food should form part of creating a workplace where people feel valued and cared for.
Our ambition is to take this much further.
In the future, we want to grow our own fresh food, use it to help supply those daily meals and eventually expand our ability to provide food, care and practical support to people within the wider communities around us.
